Education Management Information System

UNESCO does not have a standalone Education Management Information System (EMIS) support project at the moment, however, given the critical role of EMIS in the educational programmes development and implementation processes, certain level of support are provided under the existing projects. For instance, MoE Deputy Ministry for TVET is supported to develop the TVET management information system (TVET MIS) and MoE Deputy Ministry for Literacy supported to set Non-Formal Education Management Information System (NFE-EMIS), which has been integrated into the Government’s Education Management Information System (EMIS).

Both initiatives aim at enhancing MoE capacity to collect data, collate, analyze and present it in the most accurate way possible.
