Other Projects

The primary aim of the Programme for the Education of Children in Need is to do all it can to give children a better life. This is for the most part carried out through education projects, but some schemes backed by UNESCO use other, more diverse methods to improve the welfare of children. In this way, orphanages, boarding schools, distance education, improved school transport and many other types of support are now also part of the Programme.
