11 Oct, Binh Duong New City, Viet Nam: from October 10th - 12th 2018 the World Technopolis Association (WTA), the Ministry of Science and Technology, Binh Duong Province and UNESCO partnered up to co-organize the 11th WTA General Assembly, the 15th WTA Hi-Tech Fair and the 2018 Global Innovation Forum in Binh Duong New City.

Inauguration ceremony of the Trung Thanh village, Tam Thanh commune, Tam Ky district, Quang Nam province

Tam Ky, 28 June 2018 - The Inauguration ceremony of the Trung Thanh village, Tam Thanh commune, Tam Ky district, Quang Nam province, was jointly organized today by the UNESCO Office in Ha Noi and the Cooperative Alliance of Quang Nam. The event is conducted within the framework of the project aiming to enhance the participation of local communities in local cultural institutions funded by Mitsubishi Corporation through UNESCO Ha Noi.

UNESCO gender assessment platform for teacher education discussed by Asia-Pacific partners

Ha Noi, 28 May 2018 - UNESCO Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education (UNESCO Bangkok) in collaboration with UNESCO Ha Noi office has organized a regional training workshop on online gender assessment tools for teacher education in Asia-Pacific in Ha Noi on 28-29 May 2018. Around 50 participants comprising education policy-makers, planners, experts, teacher educators and researchers from 22 countries in the Asia-Pacific region are attending the workshop.

UNESCO, in collaboration with SWEDESD, organized a Regional Workshop on Advancing ESD Policy in the Mekong region in Ha Noi

On 8-9 May 2018, the Regional Workshop on Advancing ESD Policy in the Mekong Region was organized in Ha Noi within the framework of the project “Strengthening ESD Policy in Viet Nam” supported by the Government of Japan. The workshop, a joint effort of UNESCO and the Uppsala University’s Swedish International Centre of Education for Sustainable Development (SWEDESD), brought together participants from five Mekong countries: Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam.
