Launch of the call for architectural video mapping projects: “The City of the thousand and one lights, a Christmas fantasy”
For over ten years, the city of Enghien-les-Bains, UNESCO Creative City for media arts, is committed to open digital creation to the public space. On the occasion of the winter season, the town organizes key artistic events all over the city. Video mapping projects (architectural projections) are offered to residents and visitors with the aim of highlighting the architectural beauty of the buildings and sublimate Christmas.
The Centre des arts from Enghien-les-Bains, a venue for digital creation under agreement of the ministry for Culture & Communication, is launching a call for projects “Architectural video mapping” for Christmas 2016 at the international level. Four facades of the city will be enhanced from December 2nd 2016 to January 1st 2017 with the theme “The City of the thousand and one lights, a Christmas fantasy”.
Three architectural video mapping projects will be selected for each façade with one winner per site who will receive a grant of 10,000 € (inclusive of taxes) for the design or adaptation, production and projection of the installation. The other two projects will receive a defrayal of 1500 € (inclusive of taxes).
