    Estudio acerca de pruebas voluntarias con orientación en el sector de salud privada en tres ciudades de Guatemala (Guatemala, Quetzaltenango e Izabal), a fin de integrarlos a la respuesta nacional al VIH/SIDA que hasta 2008 abarcaba solo la salud pública y las ONG, y no se contaba con información de las labores del sector privado. Se detectaron problemas de desconocimiento de las políticas nacionales respecto al VIH/SIDA, falta de seguimiento de los casos y ausencia de coordinación entre médicos y químicos biólogos.
