The contents of this bibliography have been classified into five main areas: Basic Science; Clinical Science; Epidemiology, Prevention and Public Health; Social Science; Rights, Policy, Commitment and Action. The production of this bibliography showed the existence of substantial information on various aspects of HIV/AIDS in Nigeria and that with proper planning such information could be collated. The collation of these materials is essential to help prevent duplication of research activities thus saving valuable time and resources, as well as provide relevant data and informtion on HIV/AIDS.
