    It is very important that sex and relationships education (SRE) programme developers attempt to elicit, understand and incorporate young people's views in the SRE development and implementation processes. This paper reports the findings of a study that sought to identify young people's self-identified learning needs and priorities regarding sexual health that should be included in school-based SRE.   5. MEMA kwa vijana program

    This programme is included in the Source Book of HIV/AIDS Prevention Program that presents 13 cases studies of good and promising practices of HIV/AIDS prevention programs in Sub-Saharan Africa. The AMREF, LSHTM and NIMR, initiated a program in 62 primary schools and 18 health facilities in Mwanza region in Tanzania in January 1999. Its main objective was to improve reproductive health knowledge among 12-19 year olds and decrease the rate of STI's and HIV infection as well as the number of unwanted pregnancies. …
