From 14 to 16 November 2012, UNESCO-UNEVOC organized an International Forum on the role of the UNEVOC Network in transforming TVET for a sustainable future. This international forum provided the unique opportunity to exchange experiences and foster partnerships between members of the UNEVOC Network and beyond. This special forum was also organized to commemorate UNEVOC’s 10 year anniversary and emphasized the importance of strengthening the UNEVOC Network and facilitate regional cooperation for the improvement of TVET. We are grateful for the active contributions of all participants and look forward to working closely with all UNEVOC Network members in transforming TVET globally.

Transforming TVET - from idea to action. One decade of UNESCO-UNEVOC
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of its establishment in Bonn in 2002, the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre published a brochure retracing its activities over the last decade, in order to reflect on past achievements, present ongoing projects and look towards the future. The brochure provides information on UNEVOC's aims, actions and themes.

Synthesis report on TVET teacher education
From 25 June to 6 July 2012, a moderator-driven discussion was held on the topic of TVET teacher education on the UNEVOC e-Forum which aimed to discuss the challenges and opportunities in this field, gather good practices and learn from experiences from the international TVET community. The conference attracted over 150 participants from more than 50 countries.

Meeting report: Consultation Meeting of UNEVOC Cluster Coordinators
The aim of the meeting was to discuss the role of Cluster Coordinating UNEVOC Centres in order to enable the better coordination of the global UNEVOC Network. This important meeting brought together 30 UNEVOC Centres, providing the opportunity to discuss better modalities to organize activities at the sub-regional level, mechanisms to facilitate updates of information on Centres, and ways to contribute to a more efficient information flow regarding the activities of the Centres.

A discussion on the number of the students in a group for the most effective workshop. The participants of the discussion agree that the number depends on the activity and resources available, although the common view is that the number of students in a practical workshop should not exceed 20.
