Project of UNESCO in Brazil and Fundo Vale is presented in New York and integrates a book of the Global Compact on cases of the private sector in support of the SDGs

The Project Sustainable Fishing in the Amazon Coast (PeSCA, in the Portuguese acronym), a cooperation between the UNESCO Office in Brazil and Fundo Vale, was one of the 19 selected cases among 80 submitted to be part of the publication SDGs in Brazil - The role of the private sector. The publication by the Brazilian Network of the Global Compact shows how Brazilian companies has stimulated the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The cases included in the publication were presented last Wednesday (26 September, 2018) during an event that took place in New York, parallel to the General Assembly of the United Nations.
