    This document presents an evaluation of the process, results and impact of the initiative to promote health and prevent sexually transmitted diseases among adolescents and youth in the school environment (in Brazilian schools), on the basis of research carried out in 340 schools in 14 state capitals.   10. Another way to learn...: case studies

    Another way to learn is a UNESCO initiative that supports Non-Formal Education projects working around the world in Africa, South Asia, the Caribbean and Latin America. The long-term goal of these projects is to develop sustainable livelihoods for low-income, low-literate populations by addressing vulnerability to HIV and AIDS and drug misuse, a lack of education and social exclusion.
