Katarina Ormuz

Katarina joined UNESCO-UNEVOC in November 2018 as Programme Assistant for management and monitoring of thematic programmes and projects, primarily Skills and Technical Education Programme (EU-STEP) and Skills for Innovation Hubs.

Prior to joining UNESCO-UNEVOC, Katarina worked at the Croatian Agency for VET and Adult Education, in various roles related to management and financial supervision of European Union-funded projects in the field of education and lifelong learning. Her other experience includes work at the Croatian Ministry of Environment, a traineeship at the Council of the European Union in Brussels, and various activities in the non-governmental sector, primarily related to topics of development cooperation.

Katarina holds a Master’s degree in political science from the University of Zagreb, with double focus on 'International relations', and 'Public policy, management and development'. She is also a certified Project Manager for projects funded by the European Union.
