Wilson Lima Júnior

Project Officer

Mr. Wilson Lima Júnior serves as Project Officer at UNESCO-UNEVOC, where he is responsible for the Skills for innovation Hubs (i-hubs) project. The initiative aims at developing and testing an innovation framework that could be used by TVET institutions to place themselves assertively in the skills and innovation ecosystem. At the same time, the project intends to identify and document the pilot institution’s innovation capacity, which is of upmost importance to inspire other TVET institutions in following the innovation path.

Prior to his current assignment, he served as Industrial Development Specialist in the Brazilian National Service for Industrial Training (SENAI), where he participated in the implementation of SENAI Innovation Institutes network and was in charge of managing the provision of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) for Brazilian companies operating in Africa and Latin America. He has also held positions in international organization such as UNDP and UNFPA.

He has authored articles and technical documents on a variety of topics, including TVET, technical cooperation and offsets. He is a TVET graduate from SENAI and has received his Masters of Business Administration in Strategic Management of Organizations from the Faculdade de Estudos Administrativos - FEAD, Belo Horizonte. His Diploma in Countertrade and Offsets has been awarded by the École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales - ESSEC, Paris.
