Mission éco-consciente : Dans son mode de gestion l’École
Polytechnique de Niamey voudrait participer à la
préservation des ressources naturelles mettre
l’emphase sur la sensibilisation à la protection de l'environnement.
Objectifs:
L’EPN, une école moderne tournée vers l’avenir offre des programmes de formation adaptés aux besoins du marché actuel et émergents. Les programmes de formation diplomantes et de formation continus sont développés selon l’approche par compétence. Disposant d’un lien Internet haute vitesse, équipée de laboratoires d’informatique et de
matériels réseaux, les étudiants sont en mesure de réaliser des activités d’apprentissages reflétant les tâches exécutées dans le milieu de travail.
L’EPN, grâce à son réseau de partenaires au niveau international est la première école du Niger à offrir un double diplôme (canadien et nigérien) et des cours permettant à des étudiants de se préparer aux certifications professionnelles internationales. En effet l’EPN est : Centre PEARSON, Networking CISCO Academy , Microsoft IT Academy, Centre européen d’examen FEDE(www.fede.org).
Tout étudiant inscrit à temps complet dans le programme gestion de réseaux informatique ou gestion des entreprises est aussi inscrit au CÉGEP de Sherbrooke et au ministère de l’éducation du Québec.

 | 11 December 2014Students of Yaba College of Technology, Lagos Nigeria invent Lite-pop (solar public light)A group of Yaba College of Technology students took part in the first Lagos Inventergy Challenge and invented what is called Lite-pop - a solar public light. The Lite-pop is an environmental solution kit which intends to solve city environmental issues like: Street Lightning, calculating the amount of humidity, temperature, sound, CO2, NO2 and Solar. Team Lite-pop participated in the 2014 Lagos State Inventergy Challenge and won 2nd position in the competition. The challenge is a platform designed to showcase innovative products and services within the energy sector in Lagos State towards the possible integration into the local economy. ( more) |

 | 17 September 2014Water Hyacinth Project in YabaTech UNEVOC CentreThe Water Hyacinth Project in YabaTech was initiated by the Coordinator of YabaTech UNEVOC Centre, Dr (Mrs.) Funmi Doherty in 2012. She is mentoring students through her water hyacinth project, to turn the invasive plant into a money maker, training them on how to make different eco-friendly hand craft, biogas and animal feed from the plant.
