Through improvements to technical and vocational education and training (TVET) learners attain standards and levels of knowledge and competence that meet the needs of the Jordanian, regional and international labour markets.
To improve through quality assurance measures the regulation and development of the ETVET sector. This is to ensure outcomes that will meet Jordan’s, international and regional labour market needs and improve opportunities for trainees. The center will accredit and license training providers in accordance with approved ETVET standards, conduct occupational tests for those involved in technical and vocational work, and grant occupational licenses.

•To develop and adopt quality standards for accrediting training providers, in order to improve all aspects of the training process in ways that can meet current and future Jordanian labor market needs.

•To develop and adopt quality standards for accrediting training providers, in order to improve all aspects of the training process in ways that can meet current and future Jordanian labor market needs.
•To apply the new accreditation standards to ETVET institutions in the Kingdom
•To develop and ensure the quality and competences of graduates of ETVET institutions in the Kingdom, in accordance with the requirements for quality and quantity of the Jordanian labour market.
•To promote the needs of all learners, including priority groups such as women, people whose learning is informal and learners with special needs.
•To modernize training plans, training programs and curricula of accredited institutions in order keep pace with technological and skills development in the Jordanian and regional labor markets.
•To prepare, in consultation with stakeholders, a National Qualifications Framework for the E-TVET sector, in order to support quality and to open up lifelong learning opportunities.
•To promote cooperation and coordination between the Center and stakeholders in Jordan, and to ensure that Arab and international concern for quality assurance in Jordan’s ETVET system is met.
•To strengthen the contribution of the private sector and local partners to the development of quality assurance standards for ETVET, and to full implementation of these standards.
