The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training was established to incorporate the various educational facilities that had been created to fill the need for technical and vocational education and training in Kuwait.

Providing a unique researchable, investable, trainable, cultural medium that interacts with the sustainable developments to transform Kuwait into a financial and commercial hub achieving optimal utilization of resources and abilities.
The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training is a flagship institution in the areas of applied education, research and training. It is a leading institute locally, regionally, globally and internationally. It is an in lighting source of creativity, innovation and development, achieves the aspirations of its members and its partners with high quality, a leader in development in various fields.
To lead the TVET sector in the country, and supervise the public and private TVET institutions to fulfill their role in the process of social and economic development.
Regular TasksIn order to achieve its objectives, PAAET offers a wide range of educational and training programmes of technical and vocational nature. These programmes are consisting of two categories of training programmes: regularly scheduled, open-registration... <show more> In order to achieve its objectives, PAAET offers a wide range of educational and training programmes of technical and vocational nature. These programmes are consisting of two categories of training programmes: regularly scheduled, open-registration programmes while the other category is special courses, which are developed at client request. PAAET also conducts in-service training, community service and continuing education programmes. All such educational services are offered through its colleges, institutes and training centres
Today, PAAET is larger than ever. There are currently more than 39,000 students enrolled at the PAAET colleges and institutes.

 | 1 November 2018UNEVOC Centre in Saudi Arabia receives an awardIn the path of seeking the goals of 2030 Vision in Saudi Arabia, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) received King Abdulaziz Quality Award. The award is to seek institutional excellence in the government sector, private institutions, and nonprofit organizations. The evaluation of the award consist of individual and group office evaluation.
