Communication and Information

The Communication and Information sector of the Project Office works to advance freedom of expression and supports the development of independent and professional media in Myanmar in different ways. As the United Nations agency with a specific mandate to promote “the free flow of ideas by word and image”, UNESCO works in Myanmar to foster free, independent and pluralistic media in print, broadcast and online.
