Overview

In recent years, there has been a heightened interested in, and concern about, enhancing the involvement of the private sector and community in the development of TVET.

UNESCO-UNEVOC has undertaken various activities in order to engage the private sector in the field of TVET. The engagement provides an opportunity for the corporate sector to share experiences in using education, training and capacity building interventions as strategies in achieving the sustainable development goals of companies. With a view to develop principles and processes for encouraging the wider adoption of education for sustainable development the purpose of these activities is to learn from innovative examples of existing practice by the corporate sector.
