The Ministry of Education is commited to pre-university education and quality education for all, as fundamental human rights within the framework of a decentralized system based on community participation. Education in Egypt will be a pioneering model in the region.
The Ministry is working to prepare students for the knowledge required in society, in light of a new social contract based on democracy, justice and the passage of a permanent future.
MissionThe vision of the future of education in Egypt depends on both the mouths of sector-wide approach and overall quality.

1 - Effective schools providing quality education for all learners
2 - Distinguished teachers with a high level of professionalism and expertise
3 - Methods based on active learning, linked to the needs of the local reality
4 - Advanced technology education integrated into the educational process
5 - Community participation promoting an energy efficient civil society to support quality education and to create a culture of participation as well as to build a democratic society in light of the trend towards national decentralization
6 - Educational Administration based on information and transparency, accountability and responsible leadership as well as informed consent to further the development in the context of decentralization.

The objectives of educational policy:
1 - Availability: To provide equal educational opportunities for all children in Egypt through support of school construction and attention to people with special needs in order to increase educational opportunities for girls and support early childhood literacy.
2 - Quality: reform and continuous improvement throughout the educational process in accordance with national quality standards.
3 - Systems: development of systems to increase their effectiveness and institutionalization of decentralization and building information systems as well as monitoring and evaluation.

Addressing the area of "school" as an integrated unit, in order to achieve comprehensive quality in the educational process, which includes a variety of postive elements of interaction in order to realise expectations.
• Teachers:
Interests in this area lie in defining the standards of a comprehensive performance of all participants in the educational process within the
school, including teacher, director, the social worker and psychologist.
• Excellent management:
The focus in this area of educational administration can be seen at various levels from executive leadership, and through middle educational leadership
and finally at the top leadership, found at the central level in the ministry.
• Community participation:
This area is dedicated to selecting standard levels of participation between the school and community, and considers the contribution of the
school in the community, community support for the school, and various aspects of educational information.
• Curriculum and learning outcomes:
This field is concerend with what the learner should gain from the knowledge, skills, attitudes, values and the approach in terms of:
philosophy, objectives, content, methods of teaching and learning, resources and educational materials and methods of evaluation.
It also addresses the learning outcomes which subjetcs are trying to achieve.
