Institutional and organizational development

In order to effectively carry out our core mandate and progressively become the UNESCO Centre of Excellence in Curriculum and related matters, we aim at constantly strengthening our delivery capacity.

We diligently monitor and manage our stock of capabilities within the broader framework of UNESCO and work to leverage our strong comparative advantage in curriculum matters. Consequently, we emphasize an integrated service delivery approach to most effectively and holistically address needs and demands of UNESCO Member States and to strengthen their capacities to achieve desired learning outcomes.

We therefore recognise our institutional responsibility to expand the IBE human resources and expertise base, to diversify and further develop strategic partnerships, and to increase the financial resources required to improve our delivery capacity.
