The "Blockchain: practices and perspectives" conference aimed to draw up a picture of the first uses of the blockchain and to identify the common perspectives of this technology.
The conference will provide an opportunity for interdisciplinary exchanges between scientists from the fields of computer science, humanities and social sciences, economics and law and will also give the floor to Blockchain project leaders (public and private) to express their views. It is designed to promote fruitful encounters and exchanges between various stakeholders, sharing common goals to transform current Blockchain practices and ecosystems.

Focusing on core issues dealt with by the UNESCO Chair in Innovation, Transmission and Digital Publishing of the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme and the Paris 8 University, the Conference aims at exploring a technology with high potential for transforming uses and practices of mediation.

The morning will mainly focus on the general lines of the practical and potential transformations of the blockchain. In the afternoon, use cases will be discussed.
