Youth unemployment is one of the greatest challenges faced by many countries around the world today: Young people are on average three times more likely to be unemployed than older adults. We believe that TVET has a key role to play in tackling youth unemployment as it is oriented towards the world of work and the acquisition of employability skills.

Greening TVET is a response to pressing global issues with regard to sustainable development. Climate change, scarcity of resources and global citizenship are some of the drivers for transition into a green-oriented growth. We believe that TVET must respond to these challenges through the provision of green skills for new and existing jobs.
ICTs in TVET

Information and Communication Technologies are key for employment and in the provision of learning content. New technologies have the potential to improve access and quality of lifelong learning. We intend to build capacities to identify challenges and make use of opportunities in this increasingly important field.
