High level UNESCO/IFAP International conference “Preservation of World’s Languages and Development of Linguistic Diversity in Cyberspace: Context, Policies, Practices”

The conference will address issues related to the preservation of multilingualism and the elaboration and implementation of national language policies.
The conference will play an important role to raise awareness on issues related to the language preservation and multilingualism promotion in cyberspace. A specific emphasis will be placed on the role of regional and national authorities and the media. The conference will present international experiences that emanate from international engagements towards language and multilingualism support, in particular through linguistic diversity development in the digital information space.
