Conference IITE-2010 – step towards the Knowledge Society

The International Conference IITE-2010 “ICTs in Teacher Education: Policy Development, OER and Partnership”, organized by the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education and the UNESCO Moscow Office, was held in St. Petersburg, the Russian Federation, on 15th and 16th of November 2010. The Conference was organized in close cooperation with the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation and the St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics and with support of CISCO Company. IITE Special event “Recognizing the potential of ICTs in early childhood education”

On 28 September 2010 within the framework of the UNESCO World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education held in Moscow IITE organized a special event Recognizing the potential of ICTs in early childhood education.
