- Academic life: Havana University, PhD in International Relations. Professional experience: 2000- 2001, First Secretary of the Cuban Mission to the United Nations. 2001-2006, Division for Multilateral Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 2006-2009, Counselor of the Cuban Embassy in Mexico and from 2009-2011, Second Chief of Mission. 2011-2014, Counselor of the Division for Multilateral Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
