In the context of the Award Ceremony of the 16th edition of the UNESCO-Sharjah Prize for Arab Culture, a workshop on comics will be organized on 13 June from 10am to 12.30pm. It will be animated by the Samandal association, laureate of the 16th edition of Prize.
The workshop will be open to particpants interested in learning the art of storytelling by drawing. An Arab DJ will also animate this workshop.
The workshop will gather 30 to 40 participants. Their work will be displayed in the hallways of UNESCO.

Established in 1998, the UNESCO-Sharjah Prize for Arab Culture rewards, each year, two laureates – individuals, groups or institutions – who, through their work and outstanding achievements, endeavour to disseminate greater knowledge of Arab art and culture.
