The Promising Practices Database presents initiatives from around the world that help contribute in a meaningful way to improving TVET in their context; be they local, national or regional. Two new promising practices from Ammachi Labs, India and SSACI, South Africa have been added to the Promising Practices Database. (ver más)

UNESCO-UNEVOC Skills in Action Photo Competition Results
As part of its activities commemorating the World Youth Skills Day 2017, UNESCO-UNEVOC organized its annual Skills in Action Photo Competition. With more than 250 submissions received from all over the world, focused on how TVET is empowering young people in their communities, according to the three main thematic areas focused under the UNESCO TVET Strategy. Con ocasión del Día Mundial de las Competencias Juveniles , UNESCO-UNEVOC y el Centro Europeo para el Desarrollo de la Formación Profesional (CEDEFOP) organizaron una conferencia que atrajo a un variado grupo de investigadores y profesionales de la formación, representantes gubernamentales, organismos internacionales, la industria y los jóvenes. Estudio sobre los REA en la EFTP
La UNESCO ha encargado un estudio sobre Función de los Recursos Educativos Abiertos (REA) para la EFTP, que lleva a cabo el profesor Robert Schuwer - Cátedra UNESCO sobre Recursos educativos abiertos y su adopción por docentes, alumnos e instituciones en la Universidad Fontys de Ciencias Aplicadas (Países Bajos)- en colaboración con el lic. Centros UNEVOC unidos por el desarrollo sostenible
El Colegio Nacional de Educación Profesional Técnica (CONALEP), en colaboración con el Instituto Federal de la Formación Profesional (BiBB) de Alemania - Centro UNEVOC - y con el Centro Internacional UNESCO-UNEVOC, organizó un taller o seminario en tres jornadas con el fin de difundir la necesidad de armonizar mejor la formación técnica y profesional y los imperativos del desarrollo sostenible.
