  • Su Alteza Real la Princesa Lalla Meryem de Marruecos
    S.A.R. la Princesa Lalla Meryem de Marruecos, hija del difunto rey Hassan II de Marruecos, fue nombrada Embajadora de Buena Voluntad de la UNESCO en julio de 2001. En esa ocasión se comprometió a apoyar proyectos de la UNESCO de defensa de los derechos de la mujer y del niño en todo el mundo. Como miembro de la realeza de su país, la Princesa Lalla Meryem desempeña numerosas funciones oficiales, centradas en particular en aspectos sociales y culturales. Se interesa muy particularmente en la situación de la mujer en la sociedad árabe y magrebí y es una gran defensora de la Convención Internacional para los Derechos del Niño.
