  • Zurab Tsereteli
    Nacido en Georgia, el pintor, escultor, decorador y arquitecto ruso Zurab Tsereteli es también fundador de la Fundación Internacional de Moscú para el apoyo a la UNESCO, de la Academia de Bellas Artes Rusas de la Cátedra Internacional de la UNESCO para las Bellas Artes y del Centro Internacional del Diseño. Zurab Tsereteli está considerado como uno de los artistas más vanguardistas del momento.
    Muy comprometido en la promoción de la cultura y de los proyectos artísticos, organiza exposiciones y ventas de sus obras para recaudar fondos de apoyo a proyectos de la UNESCO. Tsereteli donó a la UNESCO una de sus esculturas, que forma parte de la colección de obras de arte de la Organización. Muy preocupado por el futuro de los jóvenes y niños, participa en el programa de la UNESCO “Niños en situación de necesidad”.

    Inauguration of Exhibition of Works of Zurab Tsereteli at UNESCO Headquarters in honor of the 250th Anniversary of the Russian Academy of Arts

    Inauguration of the Ichiro Hatoyama sculpture designed by Zurab Tsereteli
    On 28 February 2007, a sculpture designed by UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mr Zurab Tsereteli of Ichiro Hatoyama, the Japanese statesman and three times Prime Minister between 1954 and 1956, was inaugurated in Tokyo, Japan. A messagefrom the Director-General was read to the audience during the inauguration ceremony. As Prime Minister, Ichiro Hatoyama signed the peace treaty with the Soviet Union in 1956. Más
