Education specialists from Latin America and the Caribbean will enhance their professional development and growth, which will contribute to improve quality education in the region. The two-years long accredited master degree aims at training professionals in the design, selection, organization, contextualization, management and evaluation of curriculum and learning, by focusing on issues such as innovation, sustainability, interculturality, equity and inclusion. Graduates of the Master in Curriculum and Learning will demonstrate competencies to carry out critical analysis of curriculum policies for basic and higher education; to design and evaluate textbooks, curricula and other learning materials for basic and higher education; to implement curriculum and curriculum proposals linked to a personalized learning model and contextually relevant; to implement, monitor and evaluate curriculum models and learning materials to help solving the educational challenges of a specific country.
This initiative will be implemented by the Teacher Education Institute “Benemérita y Centenaria Escuela Normal de Jalisco” with the support of the Secretariat of Public Education of the State of Jalisco, Mexico, in partnership with IBE –UNESCO.
