  • "Media for Democracy: Journalism and Elections in Times of Misinformation"

    On Friday 3 May from 11:15 to 13:00 in room XXV at the Palais des Nations, the UNESCO Geneva Liaison Office and the UN Information Service in Geneva, with the support of co-sponsoring Member States, will hold a Panel Discussion to mark the 2019 World Press Freedom Day and discuss current challenges on journalism and elections in times of misinformation.

  • "Strengthening Women's Role in Peace and Multilateralism"

    On Friday 8 March from 13:30-15:00 in room XXIII at the Palais des Nations, the Permanent Mission of Jordan, the UNESCO Geneva Liaison Office and University for Peace will mark the Centenary of the League of Nations and the International Women's Day in the form of a Panel Discussion.

  • "Human Rights in the Era of Artificial Intelligence"

    On Thursday 7 March from 14:00-15:30 in Room XXII at the Palais des Nations, the UNESCO Geneva Liaison Office, together with France and Morocco as co-sponsoring states, will organize a Panel Discussion on the impact of the use of AI technology has on human rights, particularly the right of freedom of expression and the right to privacy.
