Partnerships

The success of the 2005 Convention relies on a variety of actors: artists, civil society, governments, academics, donors, the private sector and the media.

By participating in discussions or contributing financially, donors and partners work to protect and promote of the diversity of cultural expressions strengthen the scope and impact of UNESCO’s programmes.

There are many ways to get involved:

Support projects in your country

Join the Civil Society Forum: by writing to convention2005@unesco.org

Apply for International Fund for Cultural Diversity funding, if eligible

Participate in Quadrennial Periodic Reporting

Governments

Ratify the Convention

Apply to become a member of the Intergovernmental Committee: convention2005@unesco.org

Apply for funding from the International Fund for Cultural Diversity, if eligible
