Additional information

The UNESCO GNLC opened for membership in 2015; since then, the network has grown to more than 200 cities from all five UNESCO regions. UNESCO GNLC members are engaged in building learning cities and believe that promoting ‘lifelong learning for all’ is fundamental to their sustainable future. By joining the UNESCO GNLC, cities have access to guidance and support from the UNESCO GNLC Coordination Team, strengthen partnerships with other members of the network, and receive recognition for the efforts and achievements.
