Follow Indonesian researchers, teachers and students as they receive training to take the lead in assessing the safety of schools against natural hazards during field surveys in their regions. The VISUS methodology enables local stakeholders to conduct multi-hazard assessments in schools and identify the main weaknesses and needs for intervention.

It was developed by UNESCO in partnership with the SPRINT Laboratory of the University of Udine (Italy), along with risk mitigation tools and a mobile application, to empower local managers to strengthen school safety and facilitate science-based decision making to prioritize safety-related investments.
