Auschwitz Memorial
12 June 1929 | 90 years ago Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt. In 1942 on her 13th birthday she received an empty diary. She died in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945. 'Human greatness does not lie in wealth or power, but in character & goodness.'

I read her diary when I was 12 or 13, and that's when I realized that these people we read about in history books are real people just like us, with the same ideas and emotions. Anne Frank had a lot of very interesting things to say, and I wish she could have written much more.

I believe in reincarnation. I love to believe that beautiful soul went into a new life after her life as Frank. I love to think she became a Pulitzer Prize winning author by now.

Visited her β€œ home” in Amsterdam very moving and incredibly sad! Amsterdam such a beautiful city hard to imagine the horror that happened there. Always ALWAYS remember this brilliant young lady so cruelly taken .

"Anne Frank stands as the most memorable child of WWII and one of the most enduring children of all history. Anne is a testimony to the dignity of the human being, and that virtue endures despite the darkest possibility of inhumanity." VJB
