Ardent County supporter Ron Jones who survived as a prisoner of war and later became the country’s oldest poppy seller died this morning, aged 102. would like to pass on our most sincere condolences to Ron’s family and friends at this very sad time.

10 September 1942 | Franciszek Doszek (camp. no. 18271) who had escaped on 28 March 1942, was captured and placed in the camp prisoner, the bunker of Block 11. On 12 December 1942 he was released from the bunker and most probably executed by shooting.
