This cranberry red coat is our ! This coat was purchased before 1960 from Martha Murry Ltd., located on Prince Street in Truro, NS. The Martha Murry Ltd. sold speciality fabrics and had a thriving mail order business.

This week’s is this small fragment of pottery. During analysis it was noticed that the sherd has an unusual surface treatment and appears to have been brushed with a stiff fiber, possibly grass or corn husk.
