    Grateful for my time making good trouble with this summer. I shared about my freedom school students from last summer and presented him with one of this year’s t-shirts, ft. the Congressman. His contributions to the struggle for justice can never be honored enough.

    In Rosedale, students are presenting they’re final projects to the middle school students and teachers. Students in Monica Hershberger’s class gave presentations on the social issues that they chose to write about and the music they’ve selected to connect to those issues.

    Meridian Freedom Project hosted an open house today and community members got the opportunity to meet our teachers and hear about their classes. Everyone also got to hear from local civil rights activists and 1964 Freedom Summer participant Rosco Jones.
