    This week in Gujranwala, Pakistan, school leaders now have access to Pathways to Excellence, the school quality measurement tool and guide for school development planning. Now available in four languages: English, Hindi, Urdu, and Spanish!

    Second day of orientation seminar on 'Pathways to Excellence' (P2E) in collaboration with Opportunity International and PMIC in Gujranwala. Trainees are being trained for the execution of scools' self assessment standards and school development plan tools.

    Ernest owns a school in Kumasi, Ghana & took out a loan from EduFinance partner to accommodate its 1047 students. The school is now expanding from 7 to 22 new gender separated toilets, & is adding 4 new showers to support girls' menstrual hygiene management!

    Proprietors want to invest in their schools, but this requires capital. The School Improvement Loan gives proprietors capital to invest in infrastructure that can have massive impact - like gender separated toilets so girls can stay in school & not miss days during menstruation.

    The recent 2019 Ghana National Education Week celebrated education achievements & discussed remaining challenges to increase access to quality learning. One key challenge highlighted was that too many girls still do not have access to private toilets in school.

    Over 3 decades Ugandan entrepreneurs have invested in low-cost schools. These schools range from 2-35 years old, evident of continuous growth of non-state edu to meet increasing demands for quality learning environments. We're proud to support them.
