“Me, different?”: UNESCO and the City of Bordeaux launch a global campaign against racism and discrimination

UNESCO and the City of Bordeaux, with the support of the European Coalition of Cities against Racism (ECCAR), will launch a global poster campaign within the International Coalition of Inclusive and Sustainable Cities – ICCAR on 21 March 2019 in celebration of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

The campaign showcases different portraits of everyday people displayed in public spaces in the city carrying messages that foster equality in diversity and “living together”.

This campaign will be launched at a ceremony in the City of Bordeaux on 21 March 2019.  

UNESCO encourages its partners join this campaign to spread messages advocating mutual understanding and respect of others – the very essence of what this International Day is all about.
