The first big Make in India project of the second term of the NDA govt in Defence Sector has started taking shape. Earlier this week technical bids were opened for manufacturing 111 light utility multurole helicopters for Indian Navy which will cost approximately 21000 crore rupees . These utility copters will replace Chetak Helicopters in Indian Navy and will operate from its frontline warships for attack missions and rescue ans surveillance operations.
