1This Convention entered into force on 14 June 1975. It subsequently entered into force for each State one month after the date of deposit of that State’s instrument, except in cases of notifications of succession, where the entry into force occurred on the date on which the State assumed responsibility for conducting its international relations.

2Chile deposited an instrument of denunciation of the Convention on 27 April 1987. The denunciation took effect on 27 April 1988.

3Brazil deposited an instrument of denunciation of the Convention on 15 January 1998. The denunciation took effect on 15 January 1999.
