Overview
The workshop aims to bring together members of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves (WNBR), of the Ecological Restoration Alliance and any other interested parties:
- To describe the range of ecological restoration services, knowledge and support available from the Ecological Restoration Alliance and from BGCI's network of botanic garden members more broadly as well as from the WNBR.
- To describe the kinds of challenges that Biosphere Reserve managers face, and how these can be addressed through ecological restoration.
- To identify areas of common interest, and make recommendations for joint activities which would contribute to the MAB Strategy and the Lima Action Plan (2016-2025).
