About the project:
The project aims to strengthen the cultural institutional infrastructures, enhance social cohesion and contribute to sustainable development in the country. The Ministry of Culture intends to develop a comprehensive cultural policy and strategy for the country, based on consultations with key stakeholders located in the island’s seven parishes.

Short Description:
- A media campaign and consultations with stakeholders to be held in each of the seven parishes (sub-regions) of the island;
- Development of a strategy/policy document (harmonization of existing acts, development guidelines addressing such issues as grants, loans, training, etc.);
- Training workshops; and
- Setting up an implementation mechanism through the regular allocation of specific funds for cultural policy in the national budget.
