La campana del célebre reloj del Palacio de Westminster ha sonado por última vez este mediodía. El motivo de este silencio, que durará 4 años, es un gran proyecto de renovación del edificio.
A las 12 horas, el Big Ben ha dado sus doce últimas campanadas hasta 2021.

Se trata de la primera vez en 157 años que el reloj de la famosa torre estará tanto tiempo sin sonar cada hora.
