During the 2008-2009 biennium, UNESCO was associated with the celebration of 67 anniversaries proposed by Member States and approved by the 34th session of the General Conference (November 2007), in accordance with the selection criteria, adopted by the Executive Board (Decision 7.5 of the 159th session, May 2000), for such association.
