GREEN DAYS 2019: UNLOCKING GREEN GROWTH POTENTIAL
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
Ms. Mirjana Špoljarić Egger, UNDP Assistant Administrator and Director of the UNDP Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States, will conduct a three-day official visit to Montenegro from 3–5 June 2019. She will meet with key counterparts to discuss the country’s development prospects, and deliver a keynote speech at the international “Green Days” conference organized to inspire businesses and governments to invest in green growth.
Ms. Daniela Gašparíková (Slovakia) has been appointed as UNDP Resident Representative for Montenegro in April 2019.

National Human Development Report 2016: Informal work
A third of all people in Montenegro are fully or partly informally hired which puts them at risk of poor social and health protection. Montenegro loses almost 10% of budget revenue annually due to tax evasion and unpaid contributions for informally employed workers.
