IIEP is based in Paris, Buenos Aires and Dakar but its activities reach all UNESCO Members States through its rich and very dynamic networks. They are built to foster the professional interactions of educational planners and managers to facilitate the circulation of ideas and knowledge.
Creating and supporting networks
Regional and national scope
IIEP has initiated and is investing efforts in initiatives including:
- the Southern and Eastern Africa Consortium for Monitoring Educational Quality (SACMEQ)
- the Asian Network of Training and Research Institutions in Educational Planning (ANTRIEP)
- The network Education, Work and Social Inclusion, RedEtis
Some 20 training and research institutions worldwide have signed bilateral partnership agreements with IIEP over recent years.
IIEP is also working closely with National Commissions and UNESCO cluster and regional offices.
Worldwide Alumni network
More than 1,500 planners have been trained by IIEP and are important partners for the Institute, UNESCO and other agencies in their home countries. They increasingly turn to IIEP to refresh their knowledge.
