IIEP’s strong position in the field of educational planning largely derives from its ability to translate theory into practice, and to design context-specific approaches informed by broad international perspectives and trends.
The Institute produces a wide range of resources that support the decision-making process and tailors policy advice to the specific priorities of decision-makers.

Technical guidelines
School grants
- As part of the research programme on school grants, technical guidelines have been produced to help countries design and implement school grant policies. Intended for political decision-makers and educational planners, the guidelines present a variety of challenges and the different strategic solutions to consider from policy conception at the central level to implementation at the school level. Download the technical guidelines on school grants.
- A series of eight short videos were also produced to accompany the guidelines. Watch the videos related to the technical guidelines on school grant policies.
