The Silk Roads Youth Network aims to mobilize young people as local actors within the countries along the historic Silk Roads and beyond to share their views on the Silk Roads heritage and its relevance to the contemporary issues of a globalizing world.
This network is built on the experience Network of the Youth of UNESCO, Net-Med”, “United for Heritage”, the “Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads” and seeks to empower young men and women to be agents of positive transformation within their local communities. Similarly, the Silk Roads Youth Network will harness the potential of ICT and Social Media to promote exchanges and collaborations among youth for the sake of reinforcing Intercultural Dialogue and respect for Cultural Diversity.
