Description

Il s'agit de la ligne de chemin de fer à voie étroite et traction électrique (le "Train Jaune"), construit entre 1903 et 1911 pour relier les hauts-cantons pyrénéens de la valise de la Tet et de la Cerdagne au réseau ferré français. Les caractéristiques de cette ligne sont son ancienneté, sa haute technicité, son parcours escarpé ayant nécessité d'impressionnants ouvrages d'art, et son auto-alimentation par un ensemble d'ouvrages hydroélectriques.
